As you all are aware, we are still living day-to-day under the mandatory Stay at Home order put into place by Gov. Tom Wolf on March 20, 2020. Forge Credit Union has remained open. As stated in my prior letter, I am actively monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and reinforcing plans that would allow Forge to maintain operations even under potentially strained circumstances.
Pennsylvania Secretary of Health, Rachel Levine, MD has issued an essential worker safety order to take effect prior to the open of business, April 20, 2020. All employees, volunteers, members, and delivery personnel will be required to wear a mask to enter the credit union.
I would also like to reiterate that our main priority is the safety and well-being of our members, staff, volunteers, and communities. Forge Credit Union is currently operating Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 3:00 pm. Please check our website regularly in case the hours of operations need to change.
I respectfully ask that if you are not feeling well for any reason that you do not visit the credit union. If you need to visit the credit union, please call before you come. I also request that you follow proper protocols to keep everyone safe and practice social distancing while you are executing your transactions at the credit union. Specifically, we ask that you abide by the 6-feet standard when waiting in our lobby and wait patiently in your car in the event you are signing loan papers.
We can conduct a lot of our day-to-day business via telephone, mail, and our online services. If you need assistance with applying for checking accounts, debit and ATM cards, online banking or SPRIG® for mobile deposit, please do not hesitate to contact us at 610-352-2000 or via email at email@example.com.
I have been notified by the CO-OP Shared Branching Services that many of the locations are operating on reduced schedules, locations have temporarily closed or are only utilizing their drive-thru for transactions. If you wish to visit a Shared Branch location, please call that location before you go. Please visit www.co-opsharedbranch.org for a list of Share Branch outlets and their contact information. In addition, Citizens Bank is also adjusting their lobby hours, temporarily closing branches, and utilizing drive-thru banking only. If you need to cash a check, please call the location before your head out. Citizens Bank branch information can be found online at www.citizensbank.com/customer-service/branch-locator.aspx.
