Important Letter from our CEO

Dear Members:

On behalf of the Board of Directors for Forge Credit Union, I would like to thank you for your patience and consideration at this most difficult and ever-changing time. I understand the anxiety and frustration of not knowing what the day will bring. Pennsylvania’s Governor Tom Wolf has ordered the mandatory shut-down of all non-essential businesses in Pennsylvania due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Forge Credit Union is considered a life sustaining business and will remain open.  We are here to support you.

I am monitoring the spread of COVID-19 closely and reinforcing plans that would allow Forge to maintain operations even under potentially strained circumstances. If you are experiencing any hardships due to the virus, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I would also like to reiterate that our main priority is the safety and well-being of our members, staff, volunteers and communities. Forge Credit Union is currently operating on our regular schedule. I respectfully ask that if you are not feeling well for any reason that you do not visit the credit union. We can conduct a lot of our day-to-day business via telephone, mail and our online services. If you need assistance with applying for checking accounts, debit and ATM cards, online banking or SPRIG® for mobile deposit, please do not hesitate to contact us at 610-352-2000 or via email at

I have been notified by the CO-OP Shared Branching Services that many of the locations are operating on reduced schedules, locations have temporarily closed or are only utilizing their drive-thru for transactions. If you wish to visit a Shared Branch location, please call that location before you go. Please visit for a list of Share Branch outlets and their contact information. In addition, Citizens Bank is also adjusting their lobby hours, temporarily closing branches and utilizing drive-thru banking only. If you need to cash a check, please call the location before your head out. Citizens Bank branch information can be found online at

We are in this together. Please practice social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Be safe and always wash your hands.
